El Cajon's Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) has been recognized for excellence in financial reporting by the Government Finance Officers Association every year since 2018.  Prior to 2018, El Cajon's ACFR was recognized for excellence in financial reporting by the California State Municipal Finance Officers for 7 consecutive years.  This recognition demonstrates the City's goals for transparent government and open communication.

Statement of Economic Interests

The Mayor and City Council Members are elected officers identified in Government Code Section 87200 and file statements of economic interests with the City of El Cajon City Clerk’s office.

Copies of the statements of economic interests filed by the above elected officers may be obtained by visiting the offices of the Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC) or the office of the El Cajon City Clerk.
