- Metropolitan Transit System
As the largest provider of public transportation in San Diego County, the Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) maintains a skilled diverse workforce through its multiple in-house training programs for MTS Bus (San Diego Transit Corporation) and MTS Rail (San Diego Trolley). - RideFACT - Affordable Senior Transportation
The RideFACT now serves all cities in San Diego County as well as Ramona and Spring Valley. The new service provides general purpose trips for seniors (60+) 7 days a week 7am – 8pm. Reservations may be requested by calling FACT at (888) 924-3228 between 9am – 4pm. Trips may be requested up to 7 days ahead.
- San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG)
The 18 cities and county government are SANDAG serving as the forum for regional decision-making. SANDAG builds consensus, makes strategic plans, obtains and allocates resources, plans, engineers, and builds public transportation, and provides information on a broad range of topics pertinent to the region's quality of life.
- San Diego Transit, Traffic and Commute Info - Dial 511
This web site offers a number of features for commuters, transit riders, carpoolers, visitors, and more. 511 is a free phone and Web service that provides up-to-the minute information on traffic conditions, incidents and driving times, schedule, route and fare information for San Diego public transportation services, carpool and vanpool referrals, bicycling information and more. 511 is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. However, some operators may have limited hours.
