America on Main Street is a celebration of the American spirit through appreciation and respect of the many diverse ethnic and historical groups in the community. This entertaining and exciting event is held every year in Downtown El Cajon on East Main Street and Rea Avenue, between Magnolia and Claydelle Avenues. 

Highlights include multiple stages of live entertainment, American and ethnic food booths, rides, arts, crafts and display booths, a petting zoo, bounce houses and more!

This year also includes the return of El Cajon's Foodie Fest . This popular event features 10-15 of El Cajon's favorite local restaurants and food vendors offering all-you-can-eat tastings from their menu. Bring your appetite and get ready to try delicious appetizers, samples, and desserts as well as specialty beverages and smoothies.
