The City of El Cajon partnered with Live Nation Entertainment, the world’s leading live entertainment company, to manage and operate The Magnolia. The City owned facility reopened to the public in September 2019, after previously being shut for nearly 10 years following the great recession. The City invested over $8 million in upgrading and modernizing the Magnolia to be what it is currently. Today, The Magnolia features exceptional sightlines from every seat, extra wide rows for more legroom, a state-of-the-art sound, lighting and projection system, an exclusive VIP lounge, and several new bar areas throughout the facility. The Magnolia also features a unique outdoor plaza bazaar for pre- and post-show dining experiences. The Magnolia is located at 210 E. Main Street in Downtown El Cajon.
