The Public Information Office (PIO) acts as the main liaison between the City and the media. The PIO publishes a community newsletter called The Gateway, twice a year with Spring and Fall issues.The PIO team is happy to assist journalists covering the City of El Cajon. Please contact us for background information on particular stories, to arrange interviews with City staff, or for information on services and programs provided by the City.
