TYPE OF INCIDENT: Fatal Stabbing
OCCURRED: 01/16/18 at approx. 1500 hrs.
LOCATION OF OCCURRENCE: 100 W. Madison Ave. El Cajon
RESUME OF INCIDENT:
A woman passenger and her pet pit bull exited the vehicle she was in to confront a woman near a bus bench at the 100 block of West Madison Ave. in El Cajon. It is believed that an argument may have occurred between the two women, when the woman near the bus bench produced a knife and stabbed the other woman multiple times. After being stabbed, the woman got back into the passenger side of the vehicle and was driven to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead. The victim’s name has not been released pending next of kin notification by the Medical Examiner’s office. The suspect is described as a black female in her twenties 5’6”, 125 pounds with black hair and dark eyes. She was wearing a gray sweat-shirt and dark jeans. Homicide investigators are exploring the possibility the two women may have known each other.
