City offices will be closed on Thursday, November 28 and Friday, November 29 in observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday. Normal hours will resume on Monday, December 2.
The City of El Cajon is excited to announce the return of two of our community’s favorite events, now combined into one - America on Main Street and El Cajon Foodie Fest! Returning to the Downtown El Cajon district on May 20, 2023, America on Main Street will feature rides, attractions, games, performances, and vendors, bringing a day at the fair to East County. The newest addition to America on Main Street, Foodie Fest, will be a ticketed event featuring local El Cajon food vendors, restaurants, and food trucks offering all-you-can-eat tastings of some of their most popular menu items. Attendance at Foodie Fest is limited; buy your tickets in advance to reserve your place. America on Main Street will occur between 3:00 and 8:00 pm, while Foodie Fest will be open between 3:30 and 6:30 pm.
